“Já está!” is a Portuguese expression that can be translated to English as “It’s done!” or “That’s it!” It’s often used to convey the idea that something is completed or finished and it was easier than expected.

“Já está!” course is an ideal choice for several reasons. It is structured in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by the Council of Europe and follows the format of the exam for obtaining the initial certificate in Portuguese as a foreign language – CIPLE. The course is designed to guide students systematically through their learning journey, aiming to reach proficiency levels of A1 or A2, depending on whether they opt for the 12 or 24-week program. The learning process is characterized by persistence and consistency. Each lesson, students work on all four components—reading comprehension, written expression, oral comprehension and oral expression.

Our course covers a wide range of topics from A1 to A2 levels, including pronunciation, conjugation, grammar, vocabulary, expressions, and more. It’s a cultural journey exploring into geography, customs, traditions, and a dash of Portuguese history.

“Já Está!” is a 24-week program with weekly objectives and final tasks, designed to help students succeed in the CIPLE exam. Each week consists of seven daily lessons, with a maximum study time of 40 minutes each. The lessons are carefully crafted to establish a study habit leading to solid and lasting knowledge.

The weekly structure includes two blocks of lessons (1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6). Lessons 1, 2, 4, and 5 introduce the theme, motivate students, and work on grammar, vocabulary, communication and pronunciation. Lessons 3 and 6 engage students in various activities, preparing them for practical tasks related to real communication situations. Lesson 7 focuses on content consolidation through immediate correction, promoting student autonomy.

All lessons are pre-recorded, offering you the flexibility to learn at your own convenience and pace. No need to adhere to a fixed class schedule or worry about being ‘on time.’ Enjoy the freedom to tailor your learning journey to your schedule and pace.

Consistency is crucial in accomplishing this goal. To speak Portuguese naturally within six months, it’s recommended to dedicate at least 40 minutes per day to language study. Initially, this might seem overwhelming, given the high expectations, so it’s advisable to shift the focus towards daily progress and set achievable goals for each study session rather than fixating on the overarching aim of mastering a new language within six months.
