Private European Portuguese classes offer the great advantage of personal customisation. Private lessons are aimed at individuals with specific learning goals or who require a more intense tutoring service, so the method and the class topics are adapted to the interests and needs of the student. Once objectives are set, a customised program can be established.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Private lessons can be effectively conducted online and are also suitable for couples. Lessons follow an immersive style and use a large element of question-answer exercises, adapted to the student’s level. Dynamic tasks are also used to acquire vocabulary and informal conversations between the teacher and student, as well as written homework. All aspects of language skills, such as reading, writing, listening and speaking, are focussed on during lessons.
I make sure that you feel motivated, focussed, encouraged and most of all, excited to learn the language.
The duration and frequency are up to you, although I recommend at least 32 lessons in total (if possible, 1 lesson twice a week), in order to establish a paced, coherent and logical learning process.

CIPLE EXAM PREPARATION lessons
These European Portuguese lessons will help you get prepared for the CIPLE exam, whether you are looking for an A2 level. Reading and listening comprehension, written and oral communication skills, grammar and vocabulary, are evaluated in the exam and these are the components focussed on in classes.
- The CIPLE exam gives certification in European Portuguese as a foreign language, which is usually needed for professional or residency purposes.
- Students looking for Portuguese citizenship must obtain level A2 or higher (according to the CEFR levels) in the exam.
- First, I will evaluate your current level of the language and then prepare an individual study program according to your goals and the exam level you are aiming for.
- The individual preparation will allow students to practice with similar exercises to the ones in the exam.
